The Lab

Getting started

Is there a guided tutorial?

Choose Tutorial in the navigation to watch the real simulator in action.

Overview

The tutorial uses the same Essentials layout as the Lab. Its opening stage points out the view selector, slowly reveals Full workspace, then returns to Essentials. Short captions explain each change; the patient stays the same. Later stages demonstrate individual traces and studies, the empty-to-selected overlay, gradient shading, pause inspection, interventions and classroom sharing.

The Circulation Studio pointer introduces the cardiovascular sandbox through aortic stenosis, aortic and mitral regurgitation, tamponade and cardiogenic shock. Watch a Carabello pullback, the MR v wave, twelve-lead ECG interpretation, Levophed/dobutamine followed by ECMO, and synchronized ECG/Wiggers/pressure-volume inspection.

The Teacher and Student Mode chapter demonstrates Start a live session, an example session code, and entering that code as a student. After Join, the live student view shows only ECG Lead II, arterial pressure, pleth and PAWP, with the headline BP hidden. This is a local tutorial demonstration; its example code cannot join a real class. In the Lab, start a real session from Teacher Mode and send students its code or link. The tutorial uses the same desktop drawers or mobile sheets as the Lab and clears the previous disease when moving to a new example. Start explicitly; Pause tour stops the demonstration, while the simulator Pause button freezes the patient. Resume replays the current step from its starting state. Each completed step waits for Next. Use Back, Skip or the chapter selector to navigate. Tutorial recordings use a six-second window.

Click or touch the simulator to take over temporarily. Take control or Escape ends the demonstration and keeps the current physiology available to explore. Tutorial settings are separate from another open Lab page; restarting a step restores its prepared scene. No API key is required.
