Overview
Choose Catheter Whip, Overdamped or Underdamped in the sandbox. The setting affects RA, RV, PA, PAWP and LV monitors, the hemodynamic overlay and the LV/LVOT or PA/RV pullback segments. Arterial Line Response controls ART separately.
Whip adds an early-systolic spike and short oscillation. It is strongest on ventricular and PA recordings; smaller RA and PAWP motion is an illustrative extension. Overdamping blunts detail; underdamping adds overshoot and ringing.
Pause and hover or touch a catheter trace for the explanation. Recorded trace numbers and overlay gaps include the artifact. The hemodynamic table, Wiggers and PV loops retain the underlying physiology. Teacher and Student Mode share the recording setting. Select None or Reset to clear it.
