Waveforms & measurements
Every pressure channel, scales, annotations and the summary table.
How do I add catheter whip or catheter recording artifacts?
Clinical Controls → Display & ECG → Catheter Artifacts.
How do I change the sweep duration?
Change the time window in Clinical controls; the default is 6 seconds.
How do I demonstrate the post-PVC response in AS or HOCM?
Use the pullback PVC control with the relevant disease selected.
How do I identify inspiration and expiration?
Follow the respiratory line superimposed on the pleth channel.
How do I inspect an individual waveform segment?
Pause, then point at the trace location you want explained.
How do I inspect RV and LV pressure traces?
Compare ejection, relaxation and filling, with EDP distinguished from minimum pressure.
How do I perform the thermodilution demonstration?
Resume the monitor and select Inject 10 mL.
How do I read the hemodynamic summary table?
Sys, Dia and Mean describe the waveform; LVEDP and mean wedge are shown side by side.
How do I show or hide individual tracings?
Choose a workspace, then open Add traces & tools for individual views.
How do I show overdamping or underdamping?
Clinical controls → Display & ECG → Arterial line response.
How do I superimpose live traces?
Open Hemodynamic Overlay below the main waveforms, just before Catheter pullback.
How do I use the estimated Fick panel?
Review the linked estimate or enter oxygen values for a separate calculation.
How do I use the LV/Ao or PA/RV pullback?
Choose the left- or right-heart study in Catheter pullback.
How do room air, nasal oxygen, NIPPV and intubation affect the display?
Choose oxygen support in the pleth panel and adjust the available amount control.
How do the cycle figures show tamponade interdependence?
Compare the same heartbeat at inspiration and expiration.
